I’ve been using the Mesoprotech Melan 130+ pigment control
from Mesoestetic’s new Mesoprotech range for two months now and had to tell you
all about it as I absolutely love it!

Living in Durban, South Africa the sun is especially harsh in
this part of the southern hemisphere, so I wanted to invest in a good sunblock
for my face. Oh, how times have changed, when I was younger I was investing in
tanning oil and now I am all about the SPF! Looking after my skin is so important
to me now and I want to keep it healthy, protected and glowy. I also have quite
sensitive skin so I am very selective with what products I use on my face, so I
don’t have a break out.
I bought the Mesoprotech Melan 130+ pigment control in the
Black Friday sale from The Skin and Nail Bar as they had 20% off and have been
using it almost every day since then. This is honestly the best complete
sunscreen I have used for my face. It has SPF 50 so offers a high factor sun
protection and thanks to the azeloglycine in the formula this sunscreen
stops hyperpigmentation (helping
to prevent pigmentation from forming) and
protects your face from UVA, UVB, IR and visible light.
It does have a tinted formula which I wasn’t sure about at
first but it hardly feels like you have anything on. It is light weight, doesn’t
feel cakey and it blends in well, adapting to the colour of your own natural
skin. I’m one shade darker than see-through and you wouldn’t notice it on me at
all and I think it would still blend in beautifully for your darker skin ladies.
I personally hate wearing concealer and foundation in summer as I always feel
like it’s melting off in the Durban humidity but now, I just pop some of this
on every morning and I’m good to go.
Stock is available at The Skin and Nail Bar and the lovely
ladies there are skin experts. They will analyse your skin and recommend
products and facials that are perfect for you!
